The future of healthcare ​ EMIS-X’s functionality will grow quickly, becoming fully compliant with the requirements of the NHS Technology Innovation Framework (TIF) in 2024 and replacing all EMIS Web functionality in 2026. Additional features will include:​

Supporting integrated care EMIS-X is fully interoperable with EMIS Web, providing a seamless transition with no disturbance to existing workflows across your ICS or PCN. In parallel to delivering the functionality required by primary care teams, we’re also building EMIS-X to meet the demands of wider ICS organisations. EMIS-X will develop into a full suite of integrated clinical systems that will be scalable, responsive and interoperable – supporting joined-up, safer care across all healthcare settings.
